A short story about mine as a freelancer, I've started my freelancing career since 2012. I was a Tug Master at that time when I decided to disembark and left my position for some reason. My wife resigns from her job as an accounting clerk because no one will be taking care of our children. My wife was trying to figure out what freelancing was. We've heard that you can make money by working online. The big question is, how can we start? The day came when my wife knew how to create a profile in Odesk (now Upwork). Then she starts applying for a job after a month she got her first contract from her employer from Pakistan and she received her first payment for data entry task (17,000 entries). I was happy and excited at that time to know more about freelancing. Then I also create my profile in Odesk and craft a good cover letter then start applying to a job posting. I did not focus it well because of getting scared to have no skills to market, by the help of my wife she taught me on how to use the Microsoft program software and pursuing myself too to learn new things from the internet by watching some videos, blog that related on a virtual assistant. I'll spend a couple of hours taking a look for the latest job post. After 6 months of applying, my lucky day has arrived and I'd been getting hired and got the first contract as a data entry operator. So, far I still continuing my journey as a freelancer and I'd never stop learning for new opportunities. Take a look at my work history for my feedback and reviews in my portfolio. 6 ways I started my Freelance CareerInvesting Myself
